We use Heritage Redfish Kayaks in both 12' and 14', Bending Branches ultralight paddles, TFO flyrods, and RIO lines. The Redfish is a Sit On Top with a SUPER comfy seat and backrest. EASY in and out and VERY stable.

We also fish the Patapsco in the 21042 Ellicott City area. This is a great place to "get your feet wet" and although the fish are smaller, they are abundant and a lot of fun to catch. SUPER easy paddling and slow current. This river makes for a great first trip and is great for first timers getting used to the whole kayak and fly rod thing.
